## Who we are
This website is operated by MG Timber Construction Ltd, registered in England & Wales (Companies House 17232543), based in Newport, South Wales. For any privacy question, contact Morgan Campbell on 07897 035993 or info@mgtimber.uk.

## What we collect
When you submit our contact form or email us, we collect the details you choose to give: name, email, phone number, postcode, service required and the details of your project. When you browse the site, our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed for security and performance.

## Why we use it
We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site survey, prepare a quote, and, if you become a client, to deliver and invoice the work. We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.

## Lawful basis
We rely on your consent (when you send us an enquiry), the performance of a contract (when you engage us for work), and our legitimate interest in running a lawful, secure business (for basic site logs).

## How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are held for up to 24 months, then deleted. Client records are held for as long as required by HMRC and our insurers; typically six years after the end of the working relationship.

## Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to reply to you or deliver your project: for example our email provider, accountant, or a specialist supplier such as Howdens or Wren when you've asked us to specify a kitchen. All are bound by their own data protection duties.

## Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain uses. Email info@mgtimber.uk and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

## Cookies
This site uses only the minimum cookies required for it to function. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above.
